The quantity of resources you can collect is based off your mining skill. Mining Armor is a BOD Reward that can be worn while mining to increase your skill and your resource collecting. For example:
With 120 mining and no suit: 41 platinum ore and 1 platinum granite.
With 120 mining and +13 mining suit: 145 platinum ore and 18 platinum granite.
With 120 mining and +26 mining suit: 242 platinum ore and 24 platinum granite!
